Orders is an intranet tool to automate approval process of purchasing orders in
the enterprise. It helps approve, manage and track user orders from a central location.
Built-in workflow allows to define one or more approval authorities who grant or
reject requests under the company's defined authorisation procedures. After an order
is sent for approval, all approvers receive a notifications and a new task in their
workflow pending list. Once the order has been fully approved, it's automatically
received at the purchasing department for processing.
Orders helps to simplify and control purchase process, improves accuracy, increases employee productivity by automating routine purchasing and approval tasks, and improves cost controls. Orders helps to increase customer satisfaction, reduces unnecessary paperwork, and streamline a workflow. Orders can be easily adapted and integrated in to existing intranet environment. As a browser based application, Orders is accessible through any browser in the enterprise. The system requires an ASP.NET 2.0 capable Web server and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later. Clients require Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, or Firefox 2.0. |
