Shop is an intranet tool to automate the ordering process of promotional items, business gifts, corporate merchandise and incentive awards. It's a complete shopping cart application that allows employees to order logo items like pens, baseball caps and t-shirts as well as other company branded goods via the intranet. The user-friendly store interface allows for quick access to all the in-stock, approved corporate merchandise your program offers, making ordering branded products easier than ever before. Employees receive a simple method for getting product information and ordering a desired product. The application displays a catalog of items with thumbnail photos, and allows the user to select item and quantity. Automated email messages notify the administrator when orders have been received.
Shop can be easily adapted and integrated in to existing intranet environment. Integration with Microsoft Active Directory gives the advantage of operating system user authentication and role authorization (SSO) with multiple Active Directory domains. As a browser based application, Store is accessible through any browser in the enterprise. The system requires an ASP.NET 2.0 capable Web server and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later. Clients require Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, or Firefox 2.0. |
